Astringent. Buttery. Metallic. And thats just the nose. The appearance was the only thing this beer had going for it. 2 sips and I was done. Buttery, metallic, weird esters and just plain undrinkable. Bad bottle or batch, I assume. A real shame, as these guys typically make some good beer.

Eh, not so bad. Pours a red/brown color, aroma is of thick malts, as is flavor, with a floral finish as it sits on your tongue. Thats it. Nothing really special.

Pours hazy amber, nice apperance. Aroma is pretty hoppy and has some caramel in there as well. Definately hoppy with a fairly good balance of sweet malts. The finish is kind of gritty and not to my liking. Not a bad lager though.

Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, citrus and hops. Flavor was malt, caramel and a bit of a bitter finish.

amber, light brown, minimal head. nose is mellow... hoppy, pilsner yeast notes. taste is crisp... well balanced hops and light/medium malts. refreshing, dry finish.. made me realize how long it’s been since i’ve had a lager, and for a lager this is pretty nice.

Can’t believe my little local Grocer stocks this. Lager purest might not approve, cause it tastes like an IPA to me. Very hoppy. burnt toast and caramel corn. Supersize frothy blond head. Best lager.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, bottle, reddish, hoppy and fruity aroma, dry, bitter aftertaste, and overall a very rich and interesting beer.

Pours a hazy copper color. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste of caramel malt, grassy and citrus hop. A bit on the thin side, but Ok drinkability.

Amber color with a thick off white head. Sugary caramel aroma. Not much complexity to the taste. It’s a good drinkable beer though.
