COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dry hopped American Rye Pilsener. Obey the siren song of the mythological Coney Island Mermaid. Four spicy hops flow into seven golden malts. Perfect as a momentary distraction, or equally enchanting as a parade towards deeper delights. When beer tastes this good, and you don’t have scurvy, you don’t need a lime!

Bottle from the Coney Island variety pack. The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is bread and grass, with a strong amount of pilsner malt thrown in. The flavor is similar with a ton of lighter malts and a little bit of grass. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is very easy to drink and quite refreshing. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Excellent golden amber pils. The boldness of the rye enhances the spiciness. Bitter hops give hints of coriander and citrus. The stable mouthfeel lingers.

Clear golden with a white head. Some lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, rye, floral and spicy hops. Taste is mostly pilsner malt and some rye, with the hops imparting a mild bitterness. Medium bodied, pretty crisp.

bottle 9/12/11 at azwine. golden orange with a soapy whitish head. clear. lager/sulfur notes in the aroma along with loads of spiciness, cooked orange and honey. the flavor is the same but i don’t pick up a lot of pilsner grain. it is a touch sweet which keeps it from being crisp or clean.

355ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grainy malts and light citrus and herbal hops. Taste is quite malty sweet with some light citrus and herbal hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is grainy, but there is enough carbonation to please the palate. Medium bodied. This is certainly a different take on a pilsner and worth trying at least once.

Draught. Hazy/cloudy golden with a thin head. Smells a bit citrusy. Very clean and crisp taste, dry on the finish. Interesting but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
