A dry hopped American Rye Pilsener. Obey the siren song of the mythological Coney Island Mermaid. Four spicy hops flow into seven golden malts. Perfect as a momentary distraction, or equally enchanting as a parade towards deeper delights. When beer tastes this good, and you don’t have scurvy, you don’t need a lime!

Pilsner is not my thing and this is no exception. Tastes and looks like a Pilsner, which is no bad thing, it’s just that I’m not keen on it!!

Grainy in the taste, golden body with decent head, a bit of grass in the aroma and then also comes through in the taste. Drinkable.

Bottle. Can’t comment on this beers looks, as I drank it out of the bottle. nice malt structure, soft and bready, medium sweetness. Light citrusy hop flavors, medium bitterness.

This brew pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of bready malt, grain and lightly floral hops. The finish is sweet and malty. Pretty average overall.

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Color was pale golden, almost like apple juice or dehydrated urine. About an inch of head. Healthy amount of lacing. Lots of film on the sides, which stayed throughout the pour. Smelled of citrus and pine hops. Some light cereal malts in there, too, but citrus rules the day. A bit surprising for a pilsner. Different taste than the nose, really a different taste than a pilsner. Watery, smooth start, which gave way to a very slight bitter finish. Medium body. Texture ??? Lively carbonation. Smooth feel with a non-deScript, but somehow decent finish. I really liked this beer, especially after having the Albino Python first. Still didn’t taste like a pilsner to me, but a good beer.

355ml bottle. Another great colourful label that catches your eye straight up. Looks pretty solid when poured and carries a sliver of white foam and a hazy gold colour. Earthy aromas with a hint of spice and the flavour is not too bad for a pilsener. Musky and perfumey and dry in the mouth.

Bottle via Beer World: Rye dominant with the familiar dry tang tone throughout. Decent amber in the glass. Poor nose. The six other types of malt are lost to me since they were in mediocre amount to change anything. It wasn’t the siren song that intrigued me, it was that word Pilsener......which this is pretty darn far from.

Golden straw in color, clear with a thin head. Nice malt aroma and flavor. Light hop flavor and dry finish. This was decent Pils.

Pours pale amber with a large, lasting head. Nose shows restrained orange marmalade with some bready malt in the background. Flavours concentrate on the malt, mainly bready and grainy characters. A little of the citrus fruit hops transfers through too. The finish is a little metallic. Could use more carbonation.
