Mermaids, those mysterious aquatic lovelies, have popped up all over the world in legend since 1000 BC. No scientific evidence has ever surfaced to support their existence, but we’re not ones to argue with folklore.

Crystal clear, light gold appearance with a large white head and a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of grain fields dotted with floral hops. Metallic taste up front gives way to toasted malts and mild sweetness. Spicy, herbal hops make only a modest impression. Light bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel leading to a short lived finish.

Bottle. Looks like a Pilsner. Decent piney floral aroma. Tastes like a watery IPA. Not the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A mid gold coloured beer with a weak white head. A light lemony hop aroma with a background in of light malt. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a light refreshing lemony flavour, with a hint of floral hop, this is then followed by a smooth, cereal malt flavour that sweetens the taste to a light and well balanced finish. Draught @ The 3 Monkeys, New York.

Bottle in Brooklyn-- Pours clear yellow with thin white head. Nose is citrus and flower. Aromas are biscuit, citrus, white flower, peach. Average carbonation, light body. Medium dry bitter finish. Reminds me more a pale ale than a pils, but whatever, it's good and refreshing! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle the expires July 2015. Yellow, heady pour. Great clarity. Toasted biscuit and sweet malts on the nose but everything tends to be downplayed and subtle. Grassy hops. And yes even a slight crab apple thing. Light body. Good sweet malt notes at first in the taste and a mildly bitter, dry finish like a good Pilsener should be. Easy to drink.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. Clear golden, white frothy head. Strong citrus hops nose - orange and lemon, some honey sweetness and a hint of white bread. The taste is mostly dry with a touch of honey and a clean dry bitter finish. A very american-style pilsner.
