A dry hopped American Rye Pilsener. Obey the siren song of the mythological Coney Island Mermaid. Four spicy hops flow into seven golden malts. Perfect as a momentary distraction, or equally enchanting as a parade towards deeper delights. When beer tastes this good, and you don’t have scurvy, you don’t need a lime!

On tap at redlight redlight. Pours golden yellow with a little bubbly head. Pleasant nose with hints of grass and straw under the hops. Subtle sweetness and nice hops in the flavor. Little lingering with touches of hay and a slight citrus. Not a horrible beer, but nothing meant to savor. Good session style pilsner.

Serving: Draft at Fireworks.
It pours a light gold color with a small, foamy white head. The head doesn’t stick around long and leaves no lacing behind. The nose is very light with notes of grain and florals. The taste is unremarkable but clean with the grain, florlas, and a mild hop bitterness coming through. Not offensive, just not great either. Light body with average carbonation and a short, clean finish. It comes across as BMC competition or a brew for the casual summer cookout. Easy drinking and sessionable but not memorable at all.

bottle listed as 5.5%. Pours an orange gold with nice frothy white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, with rye notes, cayenne pepper, biscuit like malt, cajun. Flavor is spicy hops, not much malt, with a bitterness on the finish I find a bit astringent. Not bad, but won’t be back. Probably better on draft.

while the description seems to emphasize the hops, i didnt really get an overtly hoppy flavor here. which is fine by me as im not into hop bombs. i think maybe the rye balanced it out, which im a big fan of. some toffee and butterscotch notes with a mild woody earthy note throughout. the finish is a bit off balanced and odd, but not unpleasant. id like to try this again sometime.

Fairly standard lager-pilsner. Malty aroma with a bit of citrus. Light to medium bitterness, some biscuit flavor. Not bad, but pretty average all around - was hoping for something a little better.

Draught. Hazy/cloudy golden with a thin head. Smells a bit citrusy. Very clean and crisp taste, dry on the finish. Interesting but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle acquired at beermuda in new ken. Smells pilzy and a little veggie on the pop. Some pilsner bite on the first taste. Much less bite than stronger pilsners so its a little enjoyable even tho it does have a definate beer personality. Pale colored and medium pilsner finish. Decent beer experience.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet malt, a little vegetal, with some earthy metallic bitterness.

The flavor is some sweet bready malts with grassy noble hop bitterness in the finish. A little rye comes out as it warms. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with spritzy carbonation.

Overall, an OK pils.

Draft @ Rye & Thyme - Leominster, MA. The rye shows up in the middle of the palate with an aftertaste of a macro lager and some lemons. The finish is clean-tasting and lightly bitter. Dry texture. The overall feel of this reminds me of macro lager and real is just meh. I guess if you just entered the world of craft beer you may enjoy this. I don’t make a point to drink a lot of pilseners.
