Snojerk321 (1122), San Diego, California, USA Oct 6, 2008 22oz bottle from Casa de Oro Liquor in Spring Valley. Pours a clear medium golden color with a good sized off white head. Nose held faint hops, resin and wheat. Flavor was much of the same with a nice hop bitterness on the finish.
blipp (960), Grand Island, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy white head. Well balanced aroma with nice sweet hoppy notes. The flavor is nothing spectacular but it is well balanced, with grassy hoppy notes. Decent. swoopjones (1234), Buffalo, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a pretty nondescript medium yellow. Pretty long lasting wheat head. Mild aroma with some malt sweetness. Bitterness hits you right up front. Similar to higher ABV lagers in Prague. Grassy piney hops linger on the palate. pretty good beer gsmitty80 (549), Washington DC, USA Nov 20, 2008 This very much had the feel of a belgian strong ale. It was very light and crisp with high alcohol and florals. There was also some cirtus, i think lemon. Worth another try, because, i confess, i didnt finish the first one before it became fuel for the drain...again not because it was bad but because i was done drinking. bb (2235), Martinez, California, USA Oct 22, 2008 Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Light malt aroma with light earth amd light mineral. Malt flavor with resiny bitterness and grass and ending in a bit of a metallic note. Medium body. Resin lingers with metallic, grass, and plastic notes. porter4porter (30), Florida, USA Oct 22, 2008 pours light golden color, nice pine hops balanced by a malt sweetness, good beer
