3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Congregation Azusa. Pours a beautiful low haze golden. Healthy white foam. Nose is spot on spicy Belgian IPA, phenolic, sharp plastic, juicy melon to balance. Taste is dry, soapy, tannic peppercorn, very spicy. Palate is too dry+bitter+tannic=abrasive.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Congregation Long Beach. Nice golden pour with a white head. Fairly hazy. Aroma is lightly tart and lemony. Some pepper, a bit of tart fruit (maybe pomegranate?), earthy hops, and grass. Flavor is a bit tart and acidic. Lots of pepper, lemon, and grass. A bit bitter as well. Very light malt flavor. Weird.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a golden yellow with a straw like aroma. Taste is light, with hay and malt throughout. An easy drinking beer that is light and refreshing. I don’t taste the coffee and or peppercorns.
