A Belgian style saison with mild fruitiness and earthy spice on the palate, this crafted brew has a subtle hop aroma and a refreshing effervescent crisp dry finish.

Clear gold with a white head. Light saison flavors, some wheaty notes but too much apple/pear in the flavor and finishes too sweet.

Tap at Wolf Creek, Valencia - Clear golden with a white head that falls away very quick, leaving nearly an inch of empty pint glass. Shame on you Wolf Creek for your consistent short pour. Aroma is slightly funky with a touch of spice. Flavor is light malt, light spice, a touch earthy and some black pepper. Medium body, finishes dry. Not really a saison, more like a golden ale/saison light, but a nice, well made beer none the less. Very enjoyable taken at face value.

On tap @ Congregation Long Beach. Golden pour with a nice white head. Really heavy on the spices and banana esters. A bit of pear, light citrus, sweet malt, and a touch of yeast. Flavor is more of the same. Sweet banana, bread, and strong clove spice. Light yeast, some pear, pepper, and a touch of grass. A bit watery. Not much of a saison, but enjoyable.

Tap at Congregation Azusa, now a brewpub. Clear lighter golden pour with thick, white foam. Sheets of complete lacing. Nose is pretty much German hefeweizen- ester heavy with pear, banana, and spices. Not for saison. Taste is hefeweizen up front but moves to something very papery, bland, watery, chalky. No sugar, extremely dry and tannic. Harsh overall. Though to drink.
