On bottle: F14-275
It’s golden with a center dome of white, and a brilliant clarity. Smells of sweet malt, some bits of crystal malt, a little metal and herbal hops. Flavor is delicate, malty, nice and enjoyable with just a touch of noble malts. Medium bodied with low carb and a wet finish. Nice beer. Quaffable.

I said I wasn’t going to drink today but wanted to grab a new English county tick so here I am at The Jeffrey sipping bitter. Pours copper with head that dissipates. Nose is slight metallic and grains. Tastes grainy, caramel, of pennies, apricot, lemon, and grass. Pretty bitter with lingering finish.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and hay aroma. Slightly hazy deep honey gold with a small off-white head. Barley malt and spicy -grassy hops flavor. Light body, lively carbonation. Rather highly carbonated for and English bitter.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A mid orange coloured beer, with a frothy but weak. A light malty aroma, slightly smoky with a background hoppiness. Dry mouthfeel. Dry malty taste to start, biscuity but not sweet, then a citrusy, zesty grapefruit and lemon flavour that lifts the finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy medium straw, with a white head.
Hoppy, malty, slightly phenolic aroma, apricot, grass, nuts.
Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2.
Hoppy, malty, faintly grainy taste, apricot, caramel, yeast, faintly phenolic and earthy.
Robust, but quite enjoyable nevertheless. (2013-08-23)

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this is pretty faint. Light floral aroma with some moderately sweet woody maltiness. Almost smells like a women’s hair salon. Transparent copper body with a huge, pillowy off-white head. Starts with a bit of a watery flavor. Not much going on. Becomes a little sweet and metallic in the middle. Finishes with scant herbal character. Very low bitterness. Pretty bland. Pale lager drinkers would enjoy this, I imagine.
