Sep 26, 2008 500 ml. Burnt orange with a half-inch of lasting meringue that leaves crunchy-creamy frosting on the pint glass. Aroma is caramel, apple with the pithy core, hints of earthy-spiced orange and split wood. Flavor is a bit milder: caramel, light orange and tart apple, with an overarching citric-chalky bitterness. Light body is mostly smooth, slightly watery and nearly astringently dry.

Sep 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours like a typical English bitter- cheddar orange, nice white head, and a slightly active body. Aroma is pure British bitter, with a slight buttery malted nut in the background. Flavor is sour lake water with hints of long-forgotten nut and algae. Watery mouthfeel. Not good at all, at least in a bottle.

Sep 1, 2008 500ml bottle at the White Horse, 28th August 2008. Clear amber with a solid white head and a light hoppy aroma. Very smooth with a firm body and a malty taste. The palate is lively and I enjoyed this. I’d like to try it on cask.

Aug 20, 2008 Pours a really nice golden orange color with a thin white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma is a little hoppy with some citrus and bread notes.
Flavor is a little strange. Almost no hops bitterness at all. Not any kind of bitterness. Almost like sweet lemonade and orange juice with some malt hiding in the background. This beer is quite a bit sweeter than I expected. The citrus notes are nice though. Pretty decent beer.
