Amber, clear, dense thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - soft malts, light aroma
Taste - caramel malt, some pale toffee, some soft bitter bit citrus hops, easy, refreshing, then biscuity malts come thorough in the finish
Palate - thinnish body but some oiliness, good texture for abv. Finish - some nice digestive biscuit with a light bitter linger, slight mineral edge
Overall - The cask is far better than the bottle

Cask conditioned handpump Swan & Rushes Leicester 05/12/12. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A pretty full bodied flavoursome fruity beer. Plenty of hops and body giving malts. Well balanced and tasty with a lovely bitter finish.

Half-pint, hand-pulled at the Firs Club, Codsall on 17 Nov 2012.
Although I’ve had this at the brewery pub years back I couldn’t really remember anything about it: I still don’t.
Light amber body with a thin white head.
Aroma was fairly weak: malty mostly, but after the initial caramel hints a fruity, more hoppy smell arrives.
The taste is also malts initially with a fruitier and dry hoppy underbelly. Pleasant enough and my first beer at the Real Ale Festival the club was holding. A good solid session bitter with nothing that is going to upset anyone with strong or powerful flavours.

Niente di speciale, essendo una bitter i limiti da rispettare sono molti. comunque molto leggera e facile da bere. Si addice particolarmente agli amanti delle ales inglesi.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Clear golden amber colour, good head. Pungent creamy resin malt aroma. Spicy dry biscuit resin malt flavour, bitter aftertaste. Decent bitter with big taste for a 3.6% but over-rated.

Simply the best beer out there! I have tried hundreds of beers and I cannot think of another pint I would want more than a draught pint of bluebird from the Bull after a nice walk in the fells. A close to perfection as beer gets.

S: clear, amber, bright for an amber
A: very mild, slight biscuit quality, a little toast from the malt
T: smooth, malty, easy drinking, seems like a short finish, but minutes later you taste the breadiness on the back of your tongue
O: solid, sessionable beer, smooth, easy drinking, tasty
