blipp (444), Buffalo/Rochester, New York, USA May 6, 2008 Cask at Tap and Mallet in Rochester. Poured clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is very light with notes of caramel, brown sugar and grass. Light, dry body. Flavor is light with a decent malt base and some bitter grass like notes. Not bad. Magic_dave6 (3219), Glasgow, Scotland Dec 10, 2007 Cask in the bitter end brewpub. Aroma is noteable bittering hops, some toffee malt charcater, grassy. Taste is a decent malt base but raw bittering hops dominate, really really just raw bitterness. ShawnMalloy (107), Auburn, Massachusetts, USA Nov 9, 2007 Had this on cask at The Dive Bar (Worcester, MA). My girlfriend said it tasted like pee. I thought to myself, "maybe I should start drinking some pee. This isn’t half bad." Considerably hoppy yet easy to drink. fro2218 (465), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Sep 28, 2007 Cask - 2007 - Athens, GA This was a tasty brew enen though this cask had gone a little sour in its journey. Light caremel and toasted malt. Nice mellow bitternes and fruityness. A tiny bit ot grassy hops in flavor and aroma. Bradrcr (443), Renton, Washington, USA Sep 15, 2007 6/30/07 On Draught at Seattle International Beerfest. Aroma is fruity malt with light caramel and some pear. Appearance is cloudy light copper with a low white head. Flavor is sweet, fruity, watery malt forward with low citrus hop character and low bittering. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a low carb feel and a clean finish. Overall, a good beer, but many of the flavors are too light. This might not have made it across the pond without trouble.
