Bottle - pours cloudy gold with offwhite head and spotty lacing. Nose is earthy and caramel. Flavor adds grassy hops with metal. What a pitiful finish. Mildly sweet with slightly stronger bitterness. Medium to light body and easy to drink. Decent for the style until the finish.

Aroma is fruity with peaches, some hops, citrus and hints of hay. Flavour has citrus, hops, some hay. Finishes dryish with somewhat malty feeling, English hops and toffee. Second glass of this had rather nice peachy notes and even some Belgian yeast.
Quite close to what it says in the label; aroma has feeling of American hops, starts with flavours typical to bitter and finishes like an English pale ale does.

Very good ale. nice hops and light bodied. If this is the stronger version, I might not want to try the lighter one.

Bottle from Hippo Beers. Golden amber colour, good head. Tropical fruit aroma. Complex flowery grain resin flavour. Dry bready aftertaste. Not a typical golden ale and not particularly good.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2012 Surprisingly complex. Citrus leads to hints of nectarine with a little malt and a slight metallic tint. Quite pleasant.

50cl bottle. BBF 080513. Clear golden, frothy, white head, bubbly. Fruity, citrusy, herbal aroma, some plastic as well. Flavor has white bread, hops, caramel, citrus. Slight harshness in finish. Refreshing, decent golden ale. Mt.hood works ok here.

Tämä nimihirviö kaatuu lasiin tumman kultaisena muodostaen niukalti valkoista vaahtoa. Tuoksu on hedelmäinen, maltainen ja yrttisen humaloitu. Maku on kevyen maltainen, hedelmäinenm yrttisen humaloitu ja hieman rusinainen. Hiilihappoja on keskimääräistä enemmän. Oluen suutuntumasta ei ole mitään erikoista sanottavaa.

05/05 0.5 l bottle ogivlado brought from Bratislava, thanks for sharing! It poured clear golden body with small head. Fine hops in aroma, herbal mostly with biscuit malt underlying below. Flavor was weaker as expected, but nice biscuit maltiness with some bitter herbal hops make it decent for the style. Medium to thinner body with not particularly long bittersweet finish, that only reflects its simple but fine flavor. An OK bitter, much better than their ordinary Bluebird Bitter.

Bottle from super market. Golden color, white head. Bitter, smooth taste with caramel and citrus. Rather sweet finish. Refreshing, good brew that combines the style of an English bitter with aromas from American ales.

Pours a slightly unclear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of stinging citrusy hops and some pine. Flavour of pale malts, dry hay, strong bitter hops and weak fruitiness. Mostly dry mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Mouthdrying finish of hops and some citrus. Refreshing but too straightforward.
