3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at the Black Bull.
Appearance - golden with a proportionate head.
Nose - oranges and grapefruit. Some biscuit.
Taste - biscuit more prominent and still a bit orange note too.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - good beer and quite high bitterness given the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap in a pint glass. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, pale and light caramel malts, and some dough and light spices. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid beer but could be hoppier.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Lemon and grass are how the hops come off to me; malts are biscuity with a little dry tobacco leaf. Appearance: Pale gold with a foamy white head that settles into a bubbly skin; carbonation is very slight. Flavor: Pretty much matches the nose; more lemony than grassy, more biscuit than tobacco- more like a regular bitter. Semi-dry toward the finish. Palate: Light body, slightly sticky texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Good keg bitter, though not much more personality than the regular bitter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
@Sergio’s in Louisville. Slightly hazy orange amber with a 1" white head, no lace. Taste is malt with toast that adds light floral hops as it enters the finish. Very smooth and easy to drink, not to be confused with American IPAs. Strong on its own merits.

Tap at RJ. Aroma floral, fruity, floral. Quite tempting. Clear deep golden colour. Stable white head. Taste is a little bit watery, but nicely hoppy. Simple clean beer. Herbal floral flavours, enjoyable, refreshing, good.

On tap from the Black bull, coniston. Better than the standard bluebird with fruitier flavours and a long floral aftertaste, a very good beer.

500 ml bottle. Deep honey gold color. Small bubbly white head. Light lemony, biscuit malt nose. Crisp, tart, citrus fruit malt flavor upfront. Medium bodied, slightly bitter with briney undertones. Lively carbonation on the palate. Firm malty / hoppy balance, finishing dry and spicy.
