As the standard Bluebird is one of my favourite beers I had high hopes for this, but its really been dumbed down for another market, sweet, malty and really quite dull, not a patch on the original. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2009 Hazy pour, with a thin but tight head. Soft orange hue. The nose has a muted hop spice that tends towards wet eart, when cold. Thin entry, but no bumbs in the ride, nice texture and tasty. Dry, crackery malt has some dried arpicot. All finishes crisply, cleanly, and with a light noble hop fade. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
