Cask Conditioned at The Black Bull Hotel, Conison. Dark ruby colour with bubbly white head. Drank this after a morning climbing the mountain itself, The Old Man of Coniston is a dark rugged mountain and the beer follows suit, strong oaky and toffeeish. Nicely balanced, a great beer after a great morning.

Cask at troon ber fest 07. Aroma is fairly sulphury, nutty malts, floural hop, but blends well. Taste has some good malt character, caramel and spice making it quite tasty.
