Keg @ the brewpub. Colour. No aroma to speak of. Ok, maybe a vague touch of continental hops. Light continental hop character, mild bitterness and some vaguely boozy malt.

Bottle from Ambleside Wines. Despite the name this is more of an ale than a pilsner. Pours a cloudy amber with a small head. Fruity with grapefruit and lemon and mildly hopped. Bitter start and pleasant while it lasts but with a short finish. Drinkable but lacking depth of flavour.

Cask, Carlisle BF. Fine aroma of sugary apples, lots of candy sweetness, but, in the context of the beer style, this really works. Pleasant full-flavoured the mouthfeel and finish.
