Cask at 3 judges Glasgow ... ruby red ... malty nose ... malty and fruity with that spicesness thats common to most red ales.

On cask at Centurion, Newcastle. Pours dark ruby red with a thin white head. Strong berry hints, with a hop finish. Very good red beer but it does have a funny aftertaste, stewed berry tea?

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of roasted malts and biscuit. Flavour is sweet and fruity, with biscuit malts. Some hoppiness. Sweet finish.

Cask, Beamish Mary, No Place, Co Durham. Dark Ruby colour. Fruity berry aroma. Full bodied malty flavour. Definite spice. Very drinkable.

Cask, Leicester Fest 07. Deep red brown with a small head. Aromas are berries and chocolate with caramel and spices. Quite sweet. Flavours are sweet and malty with caramel. Has some mellow berry fruitiness with some dry tea. OK.

Cask Stillage from the cellar at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool 17/02/2007 Small white head. Fruit aroma. Copper amber coloured with some dryness in a crisp full malt finish.

[Cask from The Three Judges] Dark ruby colour, moderate head. Caramel, berry fruit. Medium bodied, fruity palate, dry finish.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2009 Cask conditioned - handpump - Criterion Leicester - A ruby to dark mahogony coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is rich fruit with noticeable strawberry and plentiful malts. The taste is also very fruity with more strawberry. Full, malty, chewy and very tasty. Very nice.Score 3.7

Aroma is minimal, some sweetish malts, touch of grassy hops. Taste is similar with a bit more floural hops, dryish finish.

Gravity at The Wellington, Birmingham. Dark red in appearance. Scent of berry fruits. Thin. Some bitterness but generally fairly tasteless, apart from a hint of oranges and berries.
