[Draft at ZBF 2004] A yellow beer with a smal disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast. The flavor is very pilsner like - malty, but lacking bitterness, which makes it too sweet and the body is thin - so this is not a good version of a pilsener.

from tap @brugs bierfestival. yellow coloured with foamy white head. Fruity, malty smell, taste: very refreshing and easy drinking beer. Interestng, after 6 tastes I took that beer and it still had some power! I’d like to try it out in summer!

Bottle at Home. Golden color with a medium white head. A pretty average pilsner, that totally lacks on bittering and aroma hops, as the sweet malty background dominates. Also a slight sour.

Bottle as Aakjærs premium pils. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, apple. Flavour is sweet, fruit, malt, apple, metallic, grass. Boring beer.

Bottle 25 cl. Light golden yellow with a big white head of good length. Dudt of malt and grassy hop notes of yeast and dough. The taste is afbalenceret with a comfortable touch of hops in the end.

250 ml bottle. Slightly hazy yellow body with a fine white head. Aroma of cooked vegetables, broth and a hint of honey. Flavor is harsh metallic bitter and sweet something – not malt. This is not good, but possible to drink as a sample to show that Belgium pilsner seldom are any good.

Bottle.Pours clear golden with a nice white head.Aroma is fruity, yellow apples, candy and yeast.Flavor is sweet water with some malt.Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

Bottle, as Aakjær Premium Pils. A more or less clear one, slightly hazed, and topped by a dense, off-white to white head of moderate size. Yellow to golden in color. There’s a touch of celler in the nose, maybe due to age, as well as a fruity sweetness and some grassy notes. Some pale malts. The flavor is sort of citrusy, with pale malts as a base. Rather sweet, slightly plagued with cooked vegetables and some bitterness showing up towards the end. Not very interesting. 110406

Fresh, clean pilsener. Has a slight level of bitterness. Would make a great session beer.

Bottle 25 cl. Comes as "Aakjærs Premium Pils". Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, sweet malt, cardboard accents and a slight phenollic touch. Bit skunky too. Very subdued hoppiness. 080111
