3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Clear dark amber. Buttery malt aroma. Sweet with soft, rich, delicate malt character but also a wealth of carbonization. Grassy and lightly roasty. Overcarbonated, but what a fantastic malt flavour!

And the next Flemish Sour doubter. Reddish orange colour, with hints of orange and yeast in the aroma. Flavour is spicy, with citric hops, but there’s no great depth. Bone dry and quite fresh tasting. There’s a very subtle tart edge to the finish, but it could hardly be called sour. Bottled at the Beer Circus, Croydon.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 6, 2006 Bottled. A fresh, fizzy, funky aroma with some sugary fruit to this hazy brown coloured beer. The taste is creamy with strawberry notes and some candy sugar. Nicely drinkable at a sensible strength.

Light spicy sugar aroma. Dark gold with a beige head. Sweet fruity and malty start with a mild dry finish. Slight spice there too. Medium bodied. Good session beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy orange reddish body, fine off-white head. Mild malty aroma with hints of fruit specially peach. Rather artificial. Yeast, berries and fruit in the flavor. Mild and with no sourness. Is this really a Flemish Sour Ale??

Aroma is caramel, figes and fruity. Copper, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, caramel, light bitter, fruity, little sticky. Reading Joris’s rating of this beer I imagen there must be a mistake and he’s confusing it with another beer or the brewer decided to complety change his recipe. This doesn’t taste like a flemish sour ale. It’s more like a good Palm.
