Bottle at Botteltje bar in Ostend, Belgium. A golden/amber coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Fruity, sweet, Belgian aroma. Tastes fruity, quite sweet, malty, honey. Iíve also had this on tap a few times, really nice Belgian ale, this is almost a Belgian session beer.

Tasted on 6/21/11 from a 330mL bottle. Pours pale orange with tons of chunky sediment and a pillowy white head that slowly recedes to thin, spotty lace. The nose is earthy and bitter hops, dusty, orange peel, and a hint of spicy Belgian yeast. The flavor is lightly sweet malt up front, dusty, a hint of spicy Belgian yeast, and lightly earthy and bitter hops. The body is medium with an oily texture, average carbonation, and a long dusty, earthy, and bitter finish.

A gentle, lasting white film remains over the cloudy, opaque golden shade. Pleasantly yeasty, floral and spicy ale with a fun honeyed biscuity maltiness + honest fresh pils malt extraction all akin to the grain bill of a maibock. Fresh tasting and moderately hoppy, its Belgianesque carbonation is engaging and fitting the general dryness. Kinda green and rustic, itís another pleasant surprise in that Valeir lineup - simple and most effective beers that are most undeniably Belgian, but drier than average and refreshing.

12 oz bottle conditioned. Light fruit aroma. Very bready flavor with a lacing of honey as well. Nice clean fishing. Good and well-balanced beer, but doesnít stand out for me.

Bottle: Poured a hazy golden color ale with large foamy head with nice thick foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light fruity ester with nice semi-sweet Belgian malt base. Taste is an easily drinkable mix between some semi-sweet Belgian style malt with light fruity ester and light floral notes. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done for style with great drinkability factor.

330ml bottle. Very nice hazy ornage piur, with a big white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, yeast, light bready malts, and some great soft sugar. Flavor is quite balanced between sweet, and bitter. Lovely carbonation, with a great tropical fruit aftertaste. Incredibly easy drinking, and a wonderful summertime patio beer.
