3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottles - Smooth and slightly spicy, with typical but not all too heavy Belgian yeastiness and a relieving low ABV for a Belgian ale. Creamy, sweetish yet dry, well-balanced and very drinkable - and yet oddly, the least remarkable - most traditional in the impressive Valeir range (modern atkes on typical Belgian taste profiles) by Contreras so far.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy dirty blond with a smooth full head that has good retention, curtains of fine lace. Taste begins with a bracing caramel malt that has a nice carbonation edge; grows through the palate, warming and changing to a smooth, lingering butter rum finish. Complex, balanced, good-tasting Belgian Blond. High recommendation.

Pours a cloudy golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, floral notes and some spices. Flavour of pale malts, spices, caramel and surprisingly bitter floral hops. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a bitter, slightly dry finish with some fruitiness. Good.
