Bottle from Sugaya. Fruity hoppy nose, with caramel, lemon, and a strange rubbing alcohol note. Hazy orange/amber color, a thick fluffy white head, and good lace. Citrus hits right away, but suddenly turns rotten, some grass, bad apples, yeast, and a bit of phenolic stuff. Medium body. The alcohol is way too apparent. Almost as if it were fortified. Not so pleasant.

33cl bottles - Smooth and slightly spicy, with typical but not all too heavy Belgian yeastiness and a relieving low ABV for a Belgian ale. Creamy, sweetish yet dry, well-balanced and very drinkable - and yet oddly, the least remarkable - most traditional in the impressive Valeir range (modern atkes on typical Belgian taste profiles) by Contreras so far.

Golden with a huge white head. Flowery and yeasty notes. Malt, flowers, spices and hops. Medium body with a short, bitter finish.

Noe tåkete lys brun med høyt beige skum. Lukter gjær, hvit pepper, melon og noe plast. Smaker gjær, lett bitterhet. Tung. Middels lang.

Tap, tent unizo event (last oct.). Gold, + white head. Trace malt in the nose, gently sweet and yeasty in the mouth, emerging grain in the finish with some yeasty bitterness. Like it !

Bottle: hazy orange beer with a frothy, diminishimg but quite stable white head. Sweet and fruity aroma - some yeast, orange peel, caramel, malt. Taste is orange fruity, very sweet, light bitterness. Very soft carbonation, oily carbonation, nothing speciel, but a nice label.

On tap at Eiderdown. Pours deep golden with small white head into a snifter. Little lacing, medium body, light carbonation, and spicy citrus aroma. Taste is spicy dry citrus and finishes bitter hops. Wouldn’t seek this again.

Bottle at Botteltje bar in Ostend, Belgium. A golden/amber coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Fruity, sweet, Belgian aroma. Tastes fruity, quite sweet, malty, honey. I’ve also had this on tap a few times, really nice Belgian ale, this is almost a Belgian session beer.

Hazy light orange colour with an average white head. Very fruity aroma, some light hoppy and yeasty hints. Full body, finish is rather spicey and dry. This is an excellent Belgian Ale.
