Bottle, 33cl. It pours a cloudy, rather pale golden body with a huge, foamy white head with quite short retention. The aroma is weaker than could be wished for, with fruit, some spice and hops, and pale malt. Effervescent in the mouth, quite thin, with flavors of fruit, spice and pale malt. Quite bitter. The finish is fruity and bitter, and I miss a bit sweetness in this beer. Citrusy as well in the finish. Sure a drinkable beer, but I don’t think it nails the style, and it is a bit boring. (080426)

Pours a hazy golden colour with a nice big creamy well lasting off-white head leaving a good lacing. Sweetish aroma with yeast, citrus, some ripe fruits and malt. The flavour is sweet and yeasty with some bread, ripe fruits, malt, and a pleasant bitter hoppiness. The finish is dry and bitter wth some ripe fruitiness.

Light golden with a huge, white head. The aroma has notes of citrus and malt and the flavour is slightly sweet with light notes of fruit, citrus, malt and a touch of honey. The finish has a light and refreshing citrus, and the body is rather light for a tripel. 2271

From bottle, at Zythos Beer Festival. Clear golden colour. One of the innumerable spicy, fruity, mildly yeasty blonde ales on offer at Zythos. Perhaps a bit sharper and drier than some. To be frank, this isn’t my favourite Belgian style. And with nearly every brewer in town seemingly intent on offering one, and all the darker options exhausted, I was reaching the point of overload. Clean and firm but nothing out of the ordinary. Competent but short of character.

Bottel.33cl. Good tripel aroma, and just the right amount of orangepeel, and that comes back in the taste it is a bit hazy. Good head.

Bottled. Pale yellow coloured. Unclear. Huge off white head. Fruits and sweetness in the aroma. Is yeasty, fruity and citric in the flavour. Is meidum bodied. Is light sour and grapish in the end. A bit on the light side flavour and aromawise.
