3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick yellow and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a fruity touch . This beer smells to fruit.

Valeir Divers 33cl bottle from www.belgianbeerstation.com.
I’m looking forward to this one.
The appearance of the beer is wonderful: a beautiful cristal clear pale golden brew with lots of carbonation. A fizzy thick white head dissapears slowly and not completely, leaving a bit of lacing on the glass. This beer is very inviting in the glass.
The smell is very malty and filled with yeast. There’s a little sour touch in the nose and also a clear alcohol presence.
First sip is sweet with a bitter hop finish. The body is fairly light with little carbonation. Yeast is also a dominant part of the flavour, leaving a powdery feel in the aftertaste.
Overall, this is a tasty strong blond beer that is well balanced. I’d drink this all night long.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Yeasty and slightly grainy malty aroma with hints of overripe citrus and mildly spicy accents. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly biscuity malty and citric taste with a musty touch in the background; moderately sweet and slightly fruity malt-accented finish with a masked alcoholic note. Okay, no highlight. 15.X.11
