JanLaursen (1118) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2012
Bottle. Beautiful clear copper red beer with a huge bubbly beige head. The aroma is roasted maltysweet with notes of nuts, caramel, brown sugar, dried fruits, herbs. The flavor is sweet and very spicy (cloves) with a heavy roasted finish, that gives your mouth a dry nutty bitter sensation. Average carbonation, light to medium body, oily texture.

Beautiful dark red brown beer, almost opaque with a weak head and no carbonation. Mouty smell with hints of coffee and cacao. caramel and spices, dried fruits and a warm alcoholic undertone. The taste is bitter watery sour with very subtle well balanced sweetness. Strong cacao and coffee bitterness with a dry warm finish.

KyotoLefty (3753) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 8, 2011
Bottle from Kiya. Fragrant aroma, cherry, spice, caramel and chocolate, raisin. Deep brown with orange tints and a high, fine head. Tangy and fruity flavor, with spice, chocolate, and some roasted character. Interesting. A bit of citrus too, hops, nice strong bitterness. High carbonation, rather light. Original. Some aspects like a blonde, some like a stout...

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby brown colour with a beige and slowly lacing foamy head. Yeasty spicy and sweet malty aroma with strong notes of caramel and a tinge of dried plums and berries/raisins. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly sugary caramel-malty taste with noticeable fruity accents; sweet caramely and spicy finish with berry-fruity notes. 22.X.11

troopie (1647) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown/red pour with beige head. Malt and caramel aroma with a bit of rainy day freshness. Full bodied and tasty, but a note that tastes of old sox, that brings down the otherwise good flavour. Caramel and balanced hop/malt finish
