big malted barley and wheat aroma like butterscotch and sweet with caramel and perhaps a bit of vanilla. flavors like above with hint of vegetable and a bit of really any fruit i’ll say pineapple. Beige looking brew with a hop presence that intensifies and retreats. never had such a full brew yet with a watery body this is magnificent beer.

Draft at Monks Cafe. Hazy light orange amber pour with a huge frothy head that left lots of runny lace. Some amber fruits in the nose but the taste is quite dry. Lemon pepper. Green banana. Earl Grey tea. Plenty of hops. Fizzy on the tongue. Strong fragrant blonde.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2013 An excellent beer that’s hoppier than the Blonde. Due to my personal tast preference I prefer the Blonde but still think this is an excellent beer and would drink it any time. Yellow/orange pour with more of a hoppy aroma than the blonde. Huge white head. Lovely beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber beer with a medium sized, white fluffy head. Aroma has some floral yeasty esters, combined with some typical Belgian breadiness. Flavour is medium sweet with some tartness in the background. Typical Belgian ale, but than above average. Easy drinkable, medium carbo. Decent brew.

75cl bottle from Systembolaget. Pours hazy light orange, with a layer of foam that sets as a thin vail on the beer. The consistency makes it look like a belgian wit beer in haziness. The aroma is breathtaking, citrus like you sometimes get from a really stronglyl late hopped american beer. The taste is a great balance between the yeast, bringing in fruity tunes, and the hops with their citrusy and piney bitterness. It is a great beer, this one. Contreras makes good beers, this is almost at the level with the Mars beer. Lovely.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 07.08.2010
Aroma has apricot, some orange peel, citrus and hints of spices. Flavour is rather fruity with apricot, some citrus, grapefruit and hints of spices. And a yeasty feeling. Very good!

Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, grape fruit and orange peel. Taste is very dry with grape fruit and peel. The finish is a bit weird but the beer is very good.

Cask at Le Fin Mousse, Paris. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head and broken lace. The aroma is very floral leading to some more flowers in the flavour which was initially quite a shock but grew on me after a while. Quite unusual and worth a taste. The style is of an old French floral lager, but taken to the next level. Very drinkable... eventually.

A golden beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is strongly fruitfull, fructose, oranges, and some spices. Taste of fruits, lots of spices, pears, oranges, some sourness, quite sweet. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation, nice to drink. Lots of fruits and lots of spices, nice beer.
