[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Clear golden ale with a decent white head. Grassy, soft aroma, some bitterness on the nose as well. Tastes quite dry and refreshing, some citrus fruit before the dry finish. Ultimately a session blonde ale, does exactly what you’d expect

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It’s a blonde thing. They are often like a Monet in that they are alsways good from afar. A long lasting session of head is always good thing. The aromas were intoxicating, in a you know you are going to get some drunk kind of bready, light and fluffy and a little yeasty (ok in a sexual themed rating that one doesn’t go over as well, but it was a part of the aroma). She is a little quiet (flavors muted) which is good considering the amount of people around who could see, but that quietness was really more of a velvety touch on the tounge. Its taste was ehavenly with just the right level of aggressive moves (bite at the end) and carbination like (for a cask ale) and this soft delicate tender moment in my mouth. All in all I’d do it again and would even recommend to friends.
