DruncanVeasey (1633), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Aug 7, 2008 Bottled, as (M&S) ’Welsh Honey Bitter’. Misty gold with a dying halo of suds. Nose of faint green mustiness, marzipan. Spiritous rum-like booze, astringent and quite nasty. Blunt hop dryness to finish. Couldn’t get any honey. Unimpressive. Bragesnak (1212), Aarhus, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 Torben Mathews’ tasting, Gyngen, Aarhus, DK, 230408
Hard to experience from the very last of a bottle-conditioned (Føj Torben!)
