COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Status uncertain.
Brewed stronger for a fuller flavour and triple hopped with Goldings to give the beer an authentic citrus hoppy flavour.

Cask at The Baron (JDW)- assumed it was one of the festival beers. Orange gold, brilliant clarity, dense and lasting white foam. Heady floral and orange peel hop aroma. Good tangy tangerine hop backed with cashew and biscuit malt, some alcohol. Full bodied, solid. Wisp of smoke deep in the mix. Simplistic but good.

On cask at the Society Room in Glasgow. Pours a blonde colour with a medium white head. Aroma is a little hoppy with pine, pineapple and some apple and oats. Juicy pineapple flavour with caramel, yeast and barley. A little oily mouth-feel with mild carbonation. Not the best.

bottle at home ... golden amber ... big bubbly white head ... soft citrus light toffee malt nose ... light bright juicy hop ... light bitterness ... ok but nothing special ... light dusty in linger

Bottle. Hazy golden brown with a very big fluffy foam. Aromas are biscuit malts with nutty notes and a fair amount of yeast. Peppery with mellow oranges and floral aspects. Flavours are stewed pear with caramel. Chewy malts with spiced oranges. Dry and hoppy on the finish. Good.

@ Bow, Edinburgh. Brown colour. Brassy, lightly caramelly malt nose. Caramel notes. Light hop - tobaccoey if anything. Fairly uneventful.

Cask @ Bow Bar. Orange-gold with scant head. Aroma is peanut and a hint of grain alcohol. Soft palate. Lots of bitterness in the finish. The peanutty malts are nice. There is a toasty-roasty peanut shell and some burnt flavors. Becomes mellow.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold. Faint grainy aroma. Taste is full, uncompromising sweet malt with a mid bitter finish. Not much subtlety here, but I liked it.
