Rcr84 (33), Canada Jul 4, 2007 Decent amber colour. Agree with previous post, almost no hop flavour. Highly doubt ill journey back to this brew again.
Strangebrewer (42), Chatham, Ontario, Canada Sep 3, 2008 Nice red amber colour, roasty taste, ltle aftertaste. I’d pick it up again...and again. mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 13, 2008 [1555-20080730] Bottle. Aroma has a bit of buttery popcorn and toasted grains. Clear, light brown amber body with quick white bubbles. Sweet buttery popcorn and toasted grains continues in the flavour. Medium body. Semi-unpleasant.
(@ Hart House Craft Beer Festival; Toronto, ON) Geth_in_beer (677), Nova Scotia, Canada Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Crisp fresh ale. Not much aroma. Bitter flavour, feels clean and was refreshing to drink. would have liked a stronger flavour in the palette but was a decent beer. blankboy (2625), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 12, 2008 Bottle at The Esplanade Bier Mrkt. Pours a clear amber with a small somewhat-lasting white head. Very mild aroma of sweet malt and a light sourness.
Flavour of grain, sweet malt, a bit sugary and the finish is iffy -- I’m not liking this. AWS9 (123), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Sep 1, 2007 Bottle. Little head to with darkish colour. Roasted taste is very present. Taste is certainly there, fairly pleasant. Aftertaste almost non-existent, which is actually a nice balance with the fairly strong initial taste. Pretty solid beer overall.
