A pale golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, light lemony malt, with faint mineral notes. In mouth, a light lemony malt again, very thin and inoffensive. Bottle from Probstk. Thanks for the freebie.

2010-07-11. Crisp pale yellow, small white head fades. Aroma smells skunky while pouring but it blows off, leaving very grainy pale malt, straw. Flavou is similarly grainy pale malt, very very light bitterness… Blah! Average palate is more full than I would expect from the rest of the beer. Not particularly enjoyable. Bottle from LCBO, Toronto

Bottle (clear) 275 ml
Aroma: strong oxidized nose hint of lime does not help. Unpleasant with hint of toasted waffle. 3-
Appearance: clear pale golden with fairly large smooth fine top. 4-.
Flavour and Palate: mid light body. Grainy , husky malt , bit dusty with slight off flavours that could be due to light or brewing issues. Slight hints what it could be called lime. Beneath all I can see decent beer but for sake of being Cool we should not sacrifice quality in taste.

275ml - shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Shudder. Pale slightly hazy gold, pretty much no head after about 1/10 second. Ugly vegetal aroma that settles down to cheap lime and weeds after a while. Taste is pretty meh, a bit sugary, dry heather, weeds again - no lime. Watery, cheap - why am I writing this? It sucks, it’s another bullshit "beer" in a clear bottle designed to appeal to idiots who hate beer. Fucking trash.

My bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus. Pours a very pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Skunky aroma along with grain, cardboard and Pale Malt -- bleargh. Flavour’s grainy and skunky along with some cardboard. Light bodied. I get no lime out of this at all. Totally awful.

[3129-20100712] 500mL bottle. Skunky grassy dirt aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. More skunky dirt in the flavour with light corn juice hints. Light body. Not that old but surprisingly unpleasant.

355 ml bottle via trade with MrManning. Thanks again, Len. Len warned me that there was one "bad" beer in the box, and this was the second one I opened- I sure as hell hoped this was what he was referring to, or there would be a complete dog left in there for me. Comes in a clear bottle that along with the shape and logo could be mistaken for Smirnoff Ice, except the liquid is yellow and not clear. Pale yellow, with a big, foamy bone white head. Aroma of corn husk, grain, pale malts, grass, and skunk. Flavor is the same, with a little metallic note and the lime that the "Squeeze of Lime" on the label warns about. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a mouthfeel like every other cheap pale lager in the world. Doesn’t hit you over the head with lime like Bud Light Lime or Miller Chill, which is a plus. Too bad there aren’t any other plusses. Oh, Canada, you can do better.

Boutip (3459) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 8, 2011
Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light citrus notes with grainy cereal is not the most interesting. Taste is also a boring mix between some light citrus notes with some light malt notes which may includes some adjunct. Body is thin and watery with OK carbonation. Not something I will seek out again.

Aroma of light toasted malt, mild fruity hops, pale yellow, tiny white head.Taste is raw malt and corn, yet tasty. Light bodied, fairly crisp, quite drinkable. Average.

Bottle from the LCBO. Yellow body with a very slight haze and a small, quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is surprisingly not skunky considering it’s from a clear bottle that was sitting on an open shelf - all I get is light grain and a hint of wet cardboard. Body is light and crisp. Flavour is clean - the light grain suggested by the aroma is there, along with some lime if you really look for it, and a quick finish that has an odd mineral note. Fine enough for what it is, just not something that interests me much.
