UPDATED: FEB 20, 2011 bottle. Poured clear very pale yellow with almost no head. Sweet bready aroma. Light body, smooth carbonation. Flavour is sweet, grainy, corn notes, but no lime flavour as indicated on the bottle. A fairly simple beer, but there is something really inviting about the aroma.

Aroma of light toasted malt, mild fruity hops, pale yellow, tiny white head.Taste is raw malt and corn, yet tasty. Light bodied, fairly crisp, quite drinkable. Average.

from bottle. Cracked this open after a long drive home. Reminds me of a French Panache on a hot day. Inoffensive and doesn’t claim to be something it’s not. Strangely refreshing!

275 ml bottle from Cool. Pours bright golden in colour, with smallish white head. Aroma is skunky corn. Taste is very sweet, light corny taste, a hint of smoke (weird) and hint of hops. Will not be a repeat customer.

I got down to the near end of this then I dumped it. Pale yellow very grassy aroma. Puffy white head. Grassy flavour. Weak palate. It is not that good.

2010-07-11. Crisp pale yellow, small white head fades. Aroma smells skunky while pouring but it blows off, leaving very grainy pale malt, straw. Flavou is similarly grainy pale malt, very very light bitterness… Blah! Average palate is more full than I would expect from the rest of the beer. Not particularly enjoyable. Bottle from LCBO, Toronto

Perhaps the palest beer i’ve ever seen. No head. Aroma of nothing, and maybe a light hint of adjunct. The Flavour is water to the extreme, with a note of carbonation, and adjunct. Wierd, I could have swore it said something about lime on the bottle, maybe they just jumped on the frat boy, sissy lime beer bandwagon as an after thought after the beer was already in the bottle. Points for being refreshing.

Pale sparkling gold. Has a quick fizzy white head. Nose of grains, lime-aid, a bit of grassy hops and grassy notes. Tastes mostly of rice and corn with lots of lime and sweet grass. Prickly finish, medium body, along the same lines as the other lime beers. Surprised earlier reviewers don’t mention lime as this is certainly limey.

Bottle from the LCBO. Yellow body with a very slight haze and a small, quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is surprisingly not skunky considering it’s from a clear bottle that was sitting on an open shelf - all I get is light grain and a hint of wet cardboard. Body is light and crisp. Flavour is clean - the light grain suggested by the aroma is there, along with some lime if you really look for it, and a quick finish that has an odd mineral note. Fine enough for what it is, just not something that interests me much.
