lowg (100), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada Jul 4, 2008 Six pack from LCBO. Pours generic piss yellow with nice frothy head. Aroma of stale cereal and cardboard, yuck. Tastes alright at first but as it as I went on I got that familiar Ontario buck-a-beer harshness. Slightly better than most other cheap beers but not by much. blankboy (2687), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 13, 2008 Bottle -- courtesy of GregClow. Fifth beer of the "Not-Very-Good-Beers-Tasting" - Day 2. Pours a clear pale yellow, quite bubbly, with an average size somewhat-lasting white head. Aroma’s sweet, floral and vegetal along with grain, cardboard and light grassy hops. Flavour: Ugh, not very pleasant at all -- it’s watery but that may be a good thing as it doesn’t taste very good. It gets a little better as I get slightly used to it but it’s still not good -- basically it’s watery sweet malt, grain and light grassy hops. Dull City. Light bodied. What can I say? If you drink stuff like Labatt Blue then you may as well drink this, it’s cheaper and probably a bit better but no one will ever mistake it for a quality beer. Avoid. mabel (1710), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 6, 2008 Updated: Aug 13, 2008[850-20071123] 341mL. Smells like a grainy haystack in a cornfield somewhere... covered in old people’s trousers. Clear, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head and a large column of bubbles up the middle. More grassy hay and yeast in the flavour. Light body. Poor. (4/3/4/2/8) 2.1

[1554B-20080730] Bottle. Straw and old wet hay aroma. Clear, light yellow brown body with quick white bubbles. Wet straw flavour has noticeable alcohol. Light body. Unpleasant. (3/2/4/3/9) 2.1
(@ Hart House Craft Beer Festival; Toronto, ON) piscator34 (966), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 20, 2007 Bottled extra via gregclow. Yellow in colour with strong carbonation. Slightly floral aroma, but not a whole lot else. A bit more heavy bodied and flavorful than your typical Canadian macro lager, with a bit of malt and sweet grassy character. Better than expected, but still nothing to write home about. GregClow (2369), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 6, 2007 Bottle. Pale yellow with a small white head. Sweet aroma and flavour with a faint hint of hops. Crisp body. I don’t get any off notes or adjunct character from the beer, it’s just an inoffensive and characterless mainstream lager. Well made for what it is, I suppose, but nothing that interests me very much.
