1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2006 Bought a six of these when I picked up a 24 of their great hemp red lager (Buzz)...world of difference here!!! This pilsner was a light pale straw..smallish head...almost no nose and watery...very much like 99% of the Brick’s watery malt attenuated beer, Disappointed. I love their Buzz lager but this stuff is bland city.

What’s going on here? I had a glass of this at a local bar just to try it and I was not impressed. Not that I was planning of being blown away, but it was major skunk, and the badtender said it was "fresh". Plus, the advertising with all that " A city this cool has to have a cool beer". Darn. This stuff was like carbonated alcohol water, with some skunk for an added bonus. No thanks.

Pale gold colour with a thin and quickly diminishing fizzy white head. Faint grassy aroma. Faint bitterness but mostly bland. Watery. Not bad for what it is. But nowhere near good.

Very pale, soapy white head. Big skunk. This was horrible. Hey, maybe I'll have to try it again.

So ... this is water with some nitro, right? Wow. Talk about lame. If you were to check out their advertising campaign, you'd actually shake your head in digust. Same as the beer. It does go down smooth at least.

Girls in skimpy t-shirts *did* sell this beer to me :) Clear yellow, little or no head. Hints at hops in the aroma and flavour. A bit bland, but achieves what it sets out to do, a decent attempt at a macro "lawnmower beer"

Gold in colour. Aroma of corn, wheat and some skunk. Flavour was much the same as the aroma. Finishes very thin. No good.

pours golden, thin white head. tastes like of like a canadian and a half, with just a bit more flavour than the average macro.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Minimal head, bright gold. This beer actually has some decent malt in it. Runs short at the end, slightly alcoholic at finish.

Tried it at the Hamilton Good Beer Expo... Girls in skimpy t-shirts will not sell this beer to me. You can't cover up the faint yellow urin colour, the nothing aroma, the aluminium wonderbread sandwich and water feel no matter how much their not wearing!
