1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 blankboy (4447) - Toronto, - JUN 13, 2008
Bottle -- courtesy of GregClow. Fifth beer of the "Not-Very-Good-Beers-Tasting" - Day 2. Pours a clear pale yellow, quite bubbly, with an average size somewhat-lasting white head. Aroma’s sweet, floral and vegetal along with grain, cardboard and light grassy hops. Flavour: Ugh, not very pleasant at all -- it’s watery but that may be a good thing as it doesn’t taste very good. It gets a little better as I get slightly used to it but it’s still not good -- basically it’s watery sweet malt, grain and light grassy hops. Dull City. Light bodied. What can I say? If you drink stuff like Labatt Blue then you may as well drink this, it’s cheaper and probably a bit better but no one will ever mistake it for a quality beer. Avoid.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 30, 2011
Comes in a 4-pack for $5 at the LCBO. One of three beers being pushed there nowadays. Had a few at the jam, kind of warm and it was not that good. Now, from the cold fridge to the glass, it actually is better. Pale yellow-golden colour, small white head and decent lacing. Malty start to the aromas, but then, corn comes out and then later, adjuncts. Refreshing wet mouthfeel with a little stickiness, but with a light dry finish. Not many flavours, quite mild with a little malt start and a little hop at the end. Probably would be appreciated by Labatt Blue lovers.

Pours a thin straw yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is grain and corn. Taste is nothing. I mean literally nothing. Well some grain and shitty wet newspapers.

bottle. Poured clear pale straw coloured with a slim white head. Light grainy malt aroma. Medium bodied, bready malt flavour. A clean tasting beer and a great price, proof that beer doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to taste good.

341ml bottle

I tried this beer on December 20, 2009 after purchasing a 4 pack from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent pale yellow with almost no head. The aroma was grainy malt, vomit and acid. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and weakly carbonated. The flavour was weak malt, grainy, and metallic.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 VeloVampire (616) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2009
On tap at Peppers - the only beer available during a staff party. Came a pale pee yellow with a decent white head. Aroma very sweet, corn-like, not good. Flavour similar, with a faint hint of stale, grassy hops. Corn, rice perhaps. On par with the macros, and seeing as it’s usually cheaper and local, you might as well go with this. But really, if this is the best beer available, you’re in the wrong place...
