Brewed in the style of an American Amber ale, this beer is smooth and complex with a distinctive hop aroma and flavor. Its reddish hue is a result of our brewmaster’s unique combination of crystal malts and chocolate malt used during the mashing process.

Very average amber. Light on mouthfeel more grain than a nut like flavor. Hop is light a very drinkable beer but not for. Those wanting interest.

On tap at Brewery. Pours a deep amber with a thin white head. Aroma is bready and toasty which I really enjoy in an amber. The flavors come together nicely to provide some caramel sweetness and citrus hoppiness, along with a creamy texture and full body. A well done amber.

On tap at Cool Springs. Fairly heavy bread toast to the body. Dry earthiness through the finish. Light earth and floral hops; moderately bitter.

Clear bourbon color, head that quickly reduces to the rim, no lace. Taste is caramel malt that is quickly joined by American hops. The malt doesn’t give way easily, adding earthy molasses to create an impressive balance. Both sides dance easily through the finish. This is a well-conceived ale that is easy to drink. Recommended.

It’s fine for a gateway beer, but really isn’t much to write home about. Malty and plain, but not sweet or grainy. Lacks much hop character. Looks pretty. Tastes smooth and fine. Is a typical American Amber Ale. Needs some more complexity.

Pours a clear bronze color with moderate head that diminishes quickly and leaves lots of lacing. Strong caramel malt with hints of nutty and toasted malt as well. Moderate citrus and pine hops, which I like personally and is surprising for and amber. Mild sweetness with moderate bitterness to counter balance. Medium finish with a small boozy punch. Medium palate with mild carbonation. Very well balanced.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. Light-bodied with flavors of hops and earthy malt, along with a bit of ripe fruit. The finish is malty with a short sweet aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Clear red orange color with minimal lacing. The aroma is very mild with a very slight musky feel. Bitter dirty palate that lacks a certain needed malt feeling. I’ve had better ambers.

Draft. Hazy amber pour with a thin off white head. Scent is a bit roasty. Taste is toasted malts, caramel and hops. Thin

Sampler pours a amber with a white head. Aroma of grass and caramel malts. Taste is grains, yeast and a suble sweetness.
