On tap at Cool Springs. Dry and crisp with a nice background grain flavor. Touch of fruit to the background along with mild hops.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 rondphoto (1014) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - APR 2, 2013
Clear straw color, no head, no lace. So light, taste doesn’t enter until mid-way through the palate. Light malt shows, but can’t sustain through the finish, which nearly turns to water aided by slight carbonation bittering. Very light and unassuming. Almost not a beer. Perhaps intended for the non-drinker who wants something that can be tolerated.

Pours a clear golden with small head and minimal lacing. Light sweet taste with aromas of tropical fruit and lightly toasted malt. Mildly astringent. Virtually no hop aromas with crisp short finish with a little tartness. Light carbonation thin mouthfeel . Very drinkeable but nothing to write home about.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dogbrick (6178) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of bready malt and mild hops. Light body with a slightly bitter grassy hops character and sweet malt in the background. Touches of fruit too. The finish is mildly hoppy and short. Just average overall.

Clear light yellow color that is almost see-through. Slight bread notes on the nose along with minimal metalic aspects. Crisp and clean up front with a nice roundness. Slight lingering bitter metalic feel. Good for the style.

Sorry to give this a bad review, but this must be an old batch. Diacetyl, olive oil, lime sourness, butter. Color is nice though, clear with very active bubbles, golden wheat color.

Light crisp and refreshing. That’s the damn truth. When this stuff is fresh, it’s maybe the best lightish beer in existence. Still that isn’t enough reason for me to go nuts over it. Pretty good. Nice staple for Cool Springs Brwery. Keep it up guys.
