COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cool Springs Inauguration beer

This ale is the first beer to be commercially produced in Williamson County. Brewed in the style of a German Kolsch, this beer is light, crisp, and refreshing. Two row pale malt, Munich malt, and wheat malt are used in the mash and German hops are used in the brew kettle for this historic beer.

Sorry to give this a bad review, but this must be an old batch. Diacetyl, olive oil, lime sourness, butter. Color is nice though, clear with very active bubbles, golden wheat color.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of bready malt and mild hops. Light body with a slightly bitter grassy hops character and sweet malt in the background. Touches of fruit too. The finish is mildly hoppy and short. Just average overall.

Clear light yellow color that is almost see-through. Slight bread notes on the nose along with minimal metalic aspects. Crisp and clean up front with a nice roundness. Slight lingering bitter metalic feel. Good for the style.

Light crisp and refreshing. That’s the damn truth. When this stuff is fresh, it’s maybe the best lightish beer in existence. Still that isn’t enough reason for me to go nuts over it. Pretty good. Nice staple for Cool Springs Brwery. Keep it up guys.

Draft. Golden in the glass with a white head that left good lace. Grainy aroma with a light lemon backing. The flavor was much the same with grain/wheat and lemon. Light body and a citrus aftertaste.

Yellow pour with white head and lace. Aroma of light semi sweet malt and earthy hops. Light dry malt and wheat. Medium bodied but a tad thin for me. Pretty nice though.
