COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A straightforward malt body supports the distinctive bouquet of Columbus and Falconers Flight hops that impart citrus, grapefruit and pine notes characteristic of the West Coast style. F5 is a belligerent hop reckoning.

Deep golden color. Off-white head. Nice citrus flavor throughout with Columbus hops up front. Nice malt backbone and moderate bitter finish. Fantabox

Had at the BGoA Winter tasting. Pours a golden yellow. Slight white head. Tastes somewhat soapy. Slightly bitter. Decent beer.

The beer is sunset orange with a frothy, off-white head. Lots of citrus and grapefruit right up front. Big time grapefruit and fresh hop presence. Profoundly bitter finish, with lingering tartness. Grapefruit rind, orange rind. Dry. Yet, the feel is somehow creamy and smooth. Well done. I hadn’t heard of this beer and had no expectations. A solid beer. I’d happily drink / buy this again.

Nice amber pour with an off white head. Nose is grapefruit, bitter, resin, and fresh hops. Easy palate, citrus, grapefruit, pine, fresh hops, light earth, smooth finish.

Can thanks to soonerchamps. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small foamy head that fades to a ring and leaves nice soapy lacing. Aroma is dank, juicy citrus hops with some pine and toasted malt. Taste is sweet oranges and grapefruit. Nice bread and caramel malt base. Finish adds some pine and flowers to the hop profile. A very well done West Coast IPA.

Nice balance with citrus notes coming through. Noticeable strength, a well done example of the style.

Amber color out of the can with a short lived white head. Thick, sweet candy citrus and tropical fruit nose. Flavors of red grapefruit, orange juice, tropical fruit, with a long bitter candied grapefruit rind finish. This is a big, chewy hop forward beer.

16 oz can courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott!) poured a cloudy golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of crackers, pine, earthiness, grapefruit zest and light lemon zest. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of crackers, grapefruit zest, pine and lemon zest with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Can: stoplight amber & orange tinted body, hazy in the middle, translucent at the edges. Topped with a nice, chunky layer of light beige foam. Aroma is juicy, wet grapefruit flesh, light pine, a mild fruity floral character, & just a light touch of toasted, bready sweetness. Taste is lightly bitter up front with some dense, bitter pine, light herbal notes, grapefruit & citrus peel, & a much stronger, sweeter malt body with light toast & faint caramel notes. Pretty nice, wish it was a little more dry.

Can in trade, consumed from the can. Smell is resinous pine, mango, and citrus. Taste is mango, pine, and hop bitterness. Slightly sticky going down. Solid IPA.
