3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can : Pour is murky honey gold with a two finger white head into this glass ; average retention by my standard, and some light spotting here. The nose is caramel malts, some grassy, piney hop notes, moving to light citrus ; the flavor profile begins bready, piney, caramel malts, with some bittering, moving to more sweetness, but lacking the heft that I think it needs to match the "west coast" style. Its a good drinker, overall.

16oz can shared by dmac! Thanks David! Pours a hazy burnt orange color with a finger of fluffy white head. Killer aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, and some grassy hops. Taste is really nice! Full of bitter and sweet citrus. Grapefruit, orange, lemon, and some bitter sticky pine. Very nice!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
16oz tall boy can thanks to Ant_Wailes, thanks big dog. Poured a good looking orangey/amber body with an average to slightly larger frothy off white head. Aroma is solid, notes of dirty oranges, old grass, breads, bad old hops, citrus. Great palate on this one, medium to fuller, creamy and filling with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Notes of citrus, dirty grapefruit rind, yellow grapefruit meat, green hop cones, grass clipings, orange slices. This is a good good beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a deep golden almost copper color with three fingers of sticky eggshell foam. The nose is big with lots of pine, grapefruit, citrus and a big honeymalt sweetness. The palate follows with a big malt profile that sets the backdrop for a pine heavy sticky grapefruit hop laden palate. A bit unbalanced with a long grassy bitterness that gets a bit wonky and creeps in on the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2013 Can thanks to abslyde. Pours a cloudy red orange with a white foamy head. Drank this after a Head Hunter so it is malty compared. Waiting for palate calibration. Aroma of breads, fruits, not as citrusy as the description. The taste is sweet and the finish is crisp. Light feel and medium carbonation. Not sure what to think.
Fresh can thanks to willandperry. Much better this time around but doesn’t blow me away. Piney hop aroma. Thin feel. Bitter finish.

10/11/13 can given to me in a trade with Derek.
Rich copper color with a big white head. HUGE pine and citrus notes that filled the room as soon as it was opened. Could be the best IPA I've drank after FW Double Jack.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can share by Ryan, murky golden yellow pour with a hop leaf floating in it. Aroma is big citrus, pine and some malt. Taste is similar, but a big pungent bitter bite that I don't care for.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
October 6, 2013 - can via trade from Matt. Clear orange pour with some head that faded quickly. Citrus and piney hops in aroma and taste. I typically don’t like piney hops, but the citrus balances it out nicely. Very drinkable IPA and a clean finish. Reminds me of a baby Surly Abrasive.
