A straightforward malt body supports the distinctive bouquet of Columbus and Falconers Flight hops that impart citrus, grapefruit and pine notes characteristic of the West Coast style. F5 is a belligerent hop reckoning.

Pint can. I could smell the citrusy hops as soon as I cracked it open, which was good. Very approachable for the stated 100+ IBUs. Some malts noticeable, but the hops were the star. Solid IPA and I was satisfied with my purchase.

16 oz can. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium frothy white head that goes to a film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet tropical and citrus fruit with some crystal malt and piney resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruit with dank and resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, decent fruity resiny IPA but a bit watery.

On tap at Crescent Moon 5-2-15. A clear amber with a nice white head and good lacing. Grassy and citrus aroma. Taste has pine, citrus, light bread malt backbone and a decent amount of bitterness. Good dry west coast style IPA. Enjoyed with a burger at Creacent Moon.

Can pour into pint glass. Aroma is malty, nutty. Amber color, decent white foamy head dissipates rapidly leaving slight lacing.Taste is malty up front with grapefruit overtones and a piney finish with bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Texture is slick with soft carbonation.
