COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp and clean, Horny Toad is a premium blonde ale with a hint of Noble hop bitterness to balance the two-row and pilsner malt body. This refreshing libation is a great introduction to craft beer and COOP Ale Works.

Clear golden color/ white head. Mild fruity hop, honey biscuit aromas. Light bodied with average co2. Lightly sweet honey biscuit, mild fruit flavors with a nicely bitter finish.

On tap at Old Chicago OKC. Pours clear pale gold with white head. Aromas of grassy hops and pale malts. Flavors of grassy hops and metallic malts. Really lackluster brew.

[Tap] Pours a clear yellow color with very little head. Sweet aroma of malts and light citrus. Taste is of light citrus, biscuit and a pleasant hop kick to finish it off. The palate is not bad for the style. Some alcohol is detectable here. Definitely not my Coop go-to beer, but it seems very well made nevertheless.

Enjoyed at the brewery on tap. This is a good very drinkable beer. It taste like a well balance blonde. Carbonation was perfect, appearance was crystal clear and a beautiful gold. The flavor was right on a great balance between hop and malt. Not to dry a hair sweet. A beer that is great for a summer day or for a long day on the lake.

Pours straw small head. Everything light, with a grassy hop presence. Nothing exciting.

Cloudy straw, medium head, lots of lace. Bready, sweet aroma. Strange buttery nutty flavor dominates with a pleasant alcoholic kick. A little on the flat side, with a few light floral notes. Asdie from carbonation issues, excellent especially since this is a new brewery.

An OKC breweryís attempt to make a local version of Corona. On tap at Iguana (9th and Broadway). Pours a clear golden orange color. Thin white head with decent retention and lacing. Not really much aroma to speak of. Flavor is similar to Corona, but without the skunkiness that always seems to accompany it. Smooth, medium mouthfeel. Clean finish. Ifí youíre in the mood for a Mexican style pilsener, this one isnít bad, But you can do better if youíre looing for good beer (see Coopís DNR).

On tap at the 51st Speakeasy in OKC. Iím not one for Pilseners, but this one is pretty good. Clean aroma with a flavor that has hints of lemon and wheat. Mouthfeel is smooth with a clean finish. This is different than most lagers and would be very refreshing on any hot, Oklahoma day.
