Description: Native Amber is an audacious blend of hops and malt. Caramel and biscuit notes carry the Cascade and Cluster hop additions through to an enjoyably round finish. The malt complexity proves rich and the dry-hopped character is invigorating.

Pours a beautiful Amber with 1.5 finger head with medium into a pint glass. Prominent hops aroma with a nice malt presence as well as slight fruit. Perfect pine hop and biscuit malt balance with that slight pitted fruit in the middle of the taste. Finish is bitter and bready. Amazing session / every day drinker.

ours a dark amber with a small frothy white head with good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral hops and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet malt and carmel with a nice crisp finish.

Dark Amber pour, fluffy off white head. Hoppy aroma, a bit of pine and citrus, nicely balanced with some caramel and cracker malts. Taste is a bit of bread, cracker, toasted caramel. Faint hops, pine and a bit floral. Solid Amber.

A pretty decent amber, but nothing special. A little hoppier than the average amber and has a nice sweet finish. Tried at the Lawrence Beer Expo in 2015.

16 oz refrigerated can into pint glass. Nice fluffy head; good retention. Great ruby/amber cool. Clear. Nose is malt and biscuit. Taste is caramel, biscuit, and citrusy hops. Great balance between the malt and hops. Leans sweet. Creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle; poured a auburn amber color with a khaki head. Aroma of caramel, sweet fruit, toffee and earth. A lot of bread and caramel, touch of fruity hops.

Pretty brown color. The head was creamy, but not thick like a stout beer. Medium light and very tasty. This beer is smooth and far from heavy. I enjoy the lightly roasted caramel mixed with hints of butter. I think I can taste a little banana. This is smooth. It kind of reminds me of an IPA because it has that Tony Cox hops profile. I love the very light, malty backbone. It’s not stinky. Heavy malt liquor sucks!!! Sorry Colt 45. This is refreshing like all the breakfast beverages at once: Citrus juice, Coffee, Donuts, and a little milk.

On tap. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of grass and earthy grains with a bit of sweetness backing. Flavor has earthy sweet grains and toffee with a bit of grass towards the finish.

Can: Cloudy red, rusty copper pour with a beige head that reduces to a collar quickly. Strange, conflicting aroma with juicy grapefruit flesh, light weediness, mild fusel alcohol, faint peppery notes, & a touch of stale, caramel malt sweetness. Like a weird mix of what you’d expect from both a red ale & a brown ale... with more hops... & fusel notes (even only at 6.1% ABV). Taste is surprisingly watery on the palate, given the strength of the aroma (no matter how strange). Hint of pine cones with a wood chip-like hop presence; I’d say "earthy" but there’s a stronger, woodsy essence about them. Finishes with white pepper covered grapefruit peel, light in execution with faint spiciness. Warmth brings out the fusel notes in the lingering aftertaste again. Getting weird vibes from this one, not really sure where to place my finger. Not undrinkable by any means, but certainly not my jam.
