COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Description: Native Amber is an audacious blend of hops and malt. Caramel and biscuit notes carry the Cascade and Cluster hop additions through to an enjoyably round finish. The malt complexity proves rich and the dry-hopped character is invigorating.

Thanks to AmericanBrew for sharing this can. My first beer from COOP. The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is toffee, grass and iced tea. The flavor is toffee and some very bitter vegetable flavored hops. I donít really like the interplay of the malt and hops in the beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Can courtesy americanbrew. Clear orange color. Lightly carbonated. Aroma is a bit old. Some malts, stale coffee, dry erase marker and old chocolate. Flavor is quite grainy and roasted. Finishes chocolate dryness with a bit of bitter roast.

Pours a dark, burnt amber with a good 1-2 inch head. For an amber, this one pushes its weight around and takes names. Full body, great for listening to the game on a cool autumn day.

Hazy burnt orange color/ khaki head. Nice nutty, mild roast, spicy caramel aromas. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Flavor follows nose with a rich nuttiness, mild roast, sweet spicy caramel; nice balance of roasty nuts and caramel spice.

Pours a clear amber brown color. Thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is wheat bread and caramel. Flavor is roasted coffee malt and a hint of chocolate, with some hop bitterness in the finish. A little hoppier and not as sweet as most ambers. Itís OK, but I just couldnít get into this one.
