3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gururyan (475) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Had on tap at Louie’s in Stillwater, can’t believe I’ve only now gotten around to trying this one. I actually went in for the beloved Coop Oktoberfest but they ran out for the year in one week! Anyway, this was ok...mediocre actually. Just a bitter wheat is all.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - APR 8, 2010
On tap at Drunken Fry. Pours a hazy orange-gold color. Thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is wheat and a hint of tart citrus. Lemony citrus notes are much more pronounced in the flavor, almost dominating the wheat and mild spice flavors. Medium mouthfeel and clean finish. OK as a session beer, I guess, but far from COOP’s best work.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - FEB 28, 2010
[Tap] Pours a cloudy golden color with a nice looking pillowy white head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum and sweet malts. Taste is of wheat malts, citrus, light clove and nutmeg. Didn’t get much rye here. Decent mouthfeel and higher carbonation level. The beer seemed a little bit lighter than most German versions, but still better than most of the stuff they’re making over here.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jgb9348 (3964) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - SEP 5, 2009
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with an orange tint and a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of wheat, light citrus, very mild spice and a touch of hops - not much though. Medium-bodied; Nice wheatie flavour at the beginning with spices coming through and a dose of yeast near the middle. Aftertaste shows a mild wheat flavour with a subtle fizzy floral taste - not much going in here at all. Overall, a nice local wheat to try, but definitely on the lower side of the taste spectrum for the style. I sampled this beer on draught at TapWerks in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 02-September-2009.
