Sigmund (2011), Hafrsfjord, Norway Apr 6, 2004 Another contract brewed pils, this one is supposed to replace Husets Pilsner which was 0.2% weaker. So far both beers are available in some Norwegian Coop stores. The other Norwegian Coop beers are now brewed by Mack, while Aass seems to continue brewing this one. It is a typical "neutral" pils, weak fruity aroma with hints of pineapple. Flavour is not offensive, but there is not much to be happy about either.
Beer2000 (1393), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 21, 2005 Not an easy beer to rate. The reason for this is not the complexity, it’s the opposite. Basically nothing is wrong, this beer is easy drinkable with a fresh taste - and no more. This beer is made to be a neutral pils. Personally I don’t see the point of drinking a beer like this at all. I could agree there is a bit of a fruity aroma, but that’s all.
