Pours ligt golden with fluffy white head. Good lacing. Yeasty and sweet. Easy drinking, not much after. Not too strong or bitter. Had at Melbourne airport. 355 ml bottle.

This is no pilsener. Bit of a lame effort from a fine brewery. Drunk on a nice 35 degree Aussie summers day so didn’ t have to do much to impress.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maneliquor (1008) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2011
I’m surprised this gets such a low rating. I actually don’t mind this pils at all. Coopers generally don’t do a bad beer (besides coopers clear). I find this solid all round
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 fleagle (14) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Bottle purchased at IGA in Woodburn, NSW. Didn’t have a glass, so we’ll give it a 3 for appearance. No perceptible odor, little perceptible taste. Thin and watery in the mouth. Nothing pleasant; nothing unpleasant. Bland in a bottle.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Jade (294) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 24, 2011
Strong wheat aroma on this clear golden pilsner. Minimal white head. Wheaty, metallic flavour. Funky after taste
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 10, 2011
Over all a bit of a let down from one of my favourite brewing companies. Not much of a distinct pilsner taste going on. Bit watery as well. Not all completely bad though. Has a great appearance and aroma and does have a nice finish.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 ALLOVATE (1535) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - JAN 17, 2011
From out the extravagant, slimlined green bottle comes this! Supercharged, the bubbles don’t know what to do. So much carbonation inside such a thinly looking, bright as bright, pale gold body. The head is well retained but there is nothing natural to it. A loose bubbly white crown that sits a good inch thick and drabs the glass well. Eggy fart once the cap comes off. Damp, old mown grass, chaff and pepper on the nose after that with a metallic hop tinge - POR!? A reserved sweetness in the mouth, it is almost vinous, powdery hops and malts, some dusty grain husks. Has a herbal back-end and metallic swallow with very little bitterness. Light bodied, lingering metallic notes are alarming, the carbonation adequate, soft in back. Quite extraordinarily bland and backward this is. Why do we need another Tooheys Red or Emu Bitter!? I’d rethink the classification of this beer as I love Pilsners and this is in no way a Pilsner! Coopers need to go back to brewing beer me thinks, their brains are obviously elsewhere at the moment!!! (35,5cL, BB 12/08/11, Thirsty Camel Butler)
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Stew41 (1413) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2010
Notwithstanding the stated style this average effort from Coopers looks more like a pale lager to my palate. Clear light gold body with a thin head. Not much by way of aromas; as mildy hoppy noter at best although to be fair reminisce of Czech examples. Fizzy bottle, slightly metallic feel with mild bitterness to finish. No reason to return.
