2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 strings (377) - Sydney, - OCT 31, 2009UPDATED: MAR 7, 2010 Bottle. Surprisingly ok. Trying it because the bottle shop selection was pretty thin, but this is quite a nice, hoppy and refreshing, but overly sweet. Did manage to remind me of Czech.

A Bohemian Pilsner according to those at the brewery. But where are the hops? Nothing going on here. Don’t know why they bothered. Nice bottle though.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 DeliriumT (327) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2012
Aroma is grassy. Flavour is crisp and refreshing but dull and boring otherwise
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 johninmelb (1006) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2012
Slightly dull nose with a hint of lagery bitterness. Pours straw coloured with a medium thin head. Taste is medium dry but largely dull and lifeless and finishes slightly astringent. Stick with the ales.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 KeefOz (472) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2012
Pours a clear yellow gold colour with a very thin head that dissapated quickly. Low carbonation such that looked flat very quickly. Aroma of malt, yeast and a trace of hops. No distinct pilsner taste - grains, malt, spicy hops, a bit sweet. Palate bit thin bodied. Clean finish. Not really a pilsner.

nice branding however rather bland taste not much aroma. I’ll stick to the standard coopers
1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jdpeebs (636) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 11, 2012
Bottle- A rather bland beer. just your average lager, a bit disappointing for coopers.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 omega (490) - NEW ZEALAND - MAR 22, 2012
As a lover of Coopers Ales this pilsner is sadly lacking. No hops, with a cardboardy taste. So bad I gave three of the six pack away.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Davros (1484) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 13, 2012
Pours amber with a large fading head.
Nose shows vegetal notes, bready malt, and the usual coopers banana-like yeast. Also some faint spicy hops.
Better flavours, more focus on the bready malt and spicy hops. Finishes a little harsh though with POR metallic notes amongst the bitterness.
Body seems a bit watery and under-carbonated.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Brodies_Best (121) - Auckland Central, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 11, 2012
Pours ligt golden with fluffy white head. Good lacing. Yeasty and sweet. Easy drinking, not much after. Not too strong or bitter. Had at Melbourne airport. 355 ml bottle.
1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 alang51 (22) - Essendon West, AUSTRALIA - DEC 31, 2011
This is no pilsener. Bit of a lame effort from a fine brewery. Drunk on a nice 35 degree Aussie summers day so didn’ t have to do much to impress.
