Now here’s a beer with punch. Coopers Stout is a beacon for lovers of a hearty brew. With its robust flavour comprising a blend of fruit, chocolate and hop bitter notes it’s everything a stout should be. Brewed naturally using a top fermentation method, Coopers Stout’s unique rich, dark texture comes from specially roasted black malt.

Bottle - Poured a black hue with medium tan head. Aroma was a mix of roasted malt and woody aging. Flavor was full with roasted malt with a oily finish. The finish was short and was more bitter than other stouts I have tasted. Drinkable, but not the first choice.

Black color, brown head. Light liquorice aroma, eucalyptus, roasted malt. Good mix of roasted malts and liquorice, very light herbs, reasonable body structure, but not enough class.

Good stout aroma - chocolate, coffee, moderate fruitiness, and a little caramel. Dark, dark brown in color, almost black, decent tan head. Flavor is dominated by roasted grains, strong coffee flavor with some supporting chocolate and caramel, a bitter roasty finish. Full-bodied and smooth. Nice rich and heavy stout.

A very good stout! Roasted malts and a little coffee to the nose. Bitter-sweet. Somewhat watery mouthfeel, but less filling. Apparent yeast sediment.

Lightly hoppy, the hops make a pleasant impression, but mildness of the roast in the aroma doesn't bode well. The flavor follows up as slightly chocolatey with a little ash. The body is a bit lively with makes this a pretty drinkable beer, but a boring stout.

Has a jet black color, with a nice big tan head. The aroma is somewhat roasted, licorice and a bit meaty :(. A bit roastiness and coffee in the flavor, somewhat a bit bitter end. Too watery i think...

Bottled, in Sydney.Purple black colour with a thick, dusty brown head. Rich chocolate and liquorice flavours. Thick dense roasted malt flavour that impresses to the finish. Dark sediment greets you at the end but is a disappointing feeling knowing you’re at the end. Really nice beer.
