COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Now here’s a beer with punch. Coopers Stout is a beacon for lovers of a hearty brew. With its robust flavour comprising a blend of fruit, chocolate and hop bitter notes it’s everything a stout should be. Brewed naturally using a top fermentation method, Coopers Stout’s unique rich, dark texture comes from specially roasted black malt.

Sweetish, roasted malty and lakritz smell. Black coloured with a brown, lasting, thin head. Particles floating around. Initial salmiak malty taste becomes more a coffee-malty taste. More hopbitter aftertaste. Decent stout.

Bottle. Pours ebony and opaque with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, charcoal and grassy hops. Flavor is blackened toast, espresso, slightly sweet and lots of hop bitterness - wow is there a lot of bitterness! Thick full body and light carbonation.

Deep black with good tan head. Roast malt aroma. Flavor is mostly roast coffee. I didn't really notice any chocolate. Some hops at the finish, but not that bitter. An OK stout overall.

Good black color, small but decent tan head that managed to last for a little while.Nice roasty, malt aroma with hints of chocolate and fruit.Decent malty flavor with a good chocolate and light coffee hint, mild fruit presence at best with a decent but less then i like hop presence.Overall not bad but it could be better.I guess it was worth trying atleast a few more times so maybe a rerate needs to be done later.

very dark brown with a nice head; contrary to the commercial description, I found the texture to be almost watery; the flavor is not bad, but not what I had expected from a stout
