Una buena stout, bien hecha, equilibrada, sabrosa y con un aroma muy atractivo. Merece la pena tener una en la nevera de vez en cuando.

Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a quickly fading tan head. No lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, steel and dark chocolate. Flavour of flat Coca-Cola, treacle and dried leaves. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizz carbonation. Overly carbonated and thin in terms of flavour and body.

dark brown colour, minimal brown head; aroma and taste of intensive roasted coffee, some minimal dried plum and hints of chocolate; not that complex than expected

Black color with brown head. Aroma is malty, roasty, sweet and slightly smokey. Taste starts roasty sweet, slightly smokey and dry on the finish. Just a bit of roasty bitterness on the aftertaste. Body is quite light and dry. Quite simple, straight forward dry and roasty stout.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin head that becomes a film within one minute. Sweet aromas of coffee and dark fruits. Fairly underwhelming. Very dry mouthfeel. Proper carbonation. Flavours are bitter cocoa and maybe something resembling ashtray. Overall not bad but nothing outstanding.

Bottle from Beer Express. BB 10/10/2016. Pours black with a Cola hue, the tan head disappears fast. The aroma starts with roasted malts and black forest berries - too modest unfortunately, must wait until it’s warm. Later I get some more pungent, hoppier notes. Pleasant mild smokiness in flavour, plus strong roasted malts, and quite some bitterness in the finish. Rather active carbonation, helps take the edge off the roast. Full in the mouth, smooth texture. Very nice, I really like it. Too bad about the somewhat subdued aroma - luckily, the taste makes up for it.

Marrom escura, opaca. Espuma média de curta duração. Aroma ácido, adocicado e defumado. Sabor forte de malte torrado, ácido, com notas fortes de café e menores de chocolate e caramelo. Um surpreendente e leve toque floral, com um pouco de alcaçuz. Complexidade e sabor.
